On August 27-29, 2009, Chamber members and community leaders will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the 16th annual Community Leadership Visit. 

This year will focus on Grand Rapids’ efforts to transition into the knowledge-based economy and their successes at defining a distinct regional image for West Michigan.  In particular, we are working to develop an agenda that will focus on university-business partnerships to spur research, innovation and technology transfer; Grand Rapids’ success in sustainability efforts and the work of their regional economic development program to promote growth in West Michigan.
