Know Your Resources
International Business Council Helps Members Identify Trade Resources

The Chamber’s International Business Council and the Greater Ozarks International Trade Association joined together February 10 to sponsor “Know Your Resources,” a presentation that identified the international trade resources available to Springfield area businesses.
More than 40 attendees heard reports from international trade experts representing the Missouri Department of Economic Development, U.S. Export Assistance Center, Missouri Small Business & Technology Development Center, U.S. Small Business Administration and Missouri Enterprise. For those unable to attend, you will find copies of the PowerPoint presentations under the "Resources" tab on this page.
The Chamber’s International Business Council is now in its third year of promoting export opportunities for Chamber member businesses and working to position the Springfield area as a favorable location for international investment. Council meetings have become a regular forum where those working in international trade can share their insights, learn from the experience of others, and make valuable contacts for your business network.
The next meeting of the International Business Council will be March 9, featuring a presentation by the current Missouri Exporter of the Year – Springfield-based International Dehydrated Foods (IDF). For more information or to RSVP, please contact Brad Bodenhausen at the Chamber, 862-5567.
