Opportunities to learn and network in 2019
One of the biggest benefits to Chamber membership is the chance to participate in our many educational and networking events throughout the year. And in the new year, there will be plenty of opportunities!
The newest addition to our calendar of events for the year is a special event for 2019: our 100th Anniversary Gala. This October event is a chance to celebrate the fact that 2019 will mark 100 years of the Chamber working to strengthen our community and make it a great place to live, work and play.
We’ve also brought back our lunch-and-learn events for 2019. The 60 Minutes to Success Business Workshops series now includes 10 events: four “60 Minutes to Success” noontime events and six “Expert Edge” luncheons. Each of these hourlong workshops will feature local experts offering valuable information to help small businesses.
The best part of this series is that we now offer an annual pass for all 10 events. Just like our annual passes for Good Morning, Springfield and Business After Hours, you get cost savings, the ability to skip preregistration for each event, and flexibility to transfer your pass to another member of your business if you can’t attend every workshop.
“Our best sources of information are usually our members, and we want to make sure you have every opportunity to learn what you need to know directly from the people that know it best,” said Chamber Vice President of Membership Development Dori Grinder. “We hope that grouping these workshops into a series and offering one annual pass will ensure people have more convenient access to this valuable information.”
