Hear about the outlook for our economy

The Springfield Business Development Corporation, the Chamber’s economic development arm, presents its annual Economic Outlook event on August 21, designed to provide insight on current trends in the local, regional and national economies for Springfield’s business decision-makers.

The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Kevin Kliesen, business economist and research officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Kliesen will discuss the national outlook for sustained economic growth and how federal monetary policy is hedging against a pending economic downturn.
