Describe your services and your history:
We provide office equipment hardware and support, including copiers, printers, scanners and fax servers. We also offer managed print services, managed IT and help desk services and paperless software solutions. Our mission of “business made simple” is demonstrated as we work to simplify our customers’ existing business workflows into easy-to-manage, automated lean processes. Although we are headquartered in Springfield, we have an office in Joplin and serve customers in Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.

What do you think makes your business unique?
We concentrate on solving the customer’s pain points. Every technology company can virtually sell the same hardware, but it takes a different skill set to ensure the right solutions are sold and executed well. Communication is our top priority and we practice this internally and with our clients daily.

What is the most exciting news your business has to report from the last 12 months?
Pearson-Kelly has continued to grow at a rapid pace. We hit 20% year-over-year growth in 2016. In addition, we were named 2016 Elite Dealer “Leaders of the Pack!” by ENX, a nationwide industry magazine.

What does the future hold?
We are in a fast-paced, constantly shifting industry, so change is something we are very accustomed to. The traditional print world is migrating to a strong digital focus. The demand is increasing to make documents digital and add the ability to pass the document along a workflow process, date/time stamp and quickly retrieve that document at a later date. We continue to see a real opportunity to be ahead of the curve in our field as the late adaptors in our industry continue to fade out.
