We provide mobility and elevator solutions for residential and commercial applications, as well as site evaluation, design and custom fabrication or elevators for any application.
Give us a brief history of your business and what makes it unique:
Founded by Craig Jones in 2001, we are the only commercial and residential elevator company like this in the Midwest. With 13 plus trained mechanics, we have the capacity to install and service the systems we install. We can take over for manufacturers who have gone out of business and service those units that have hard to locate parts with our Access2parts.com division. We provide many brands and styles of systems. If you have seen it online, we can likely provide it or something better.
What’s the most exciting recent highlight for your business?
We enjoy helping solve complex problems with home and commercial access projects, whether it's code compliance or making a custom system that is unique to your project. We have the fabrication skills and trained staff to make it happen, from glass wall elevators to tube systems that work on air!
Where do you hope to see your business in 12 months?
We have just opened a physical office in Rogers, Arkansas and plan on a Tulsa or Oklahoma City location soon. Replication of each standalone store is the long-term plan. Three Missouri locations, two Arkansas Locations, two Oklahoma locations and Kansas served from Kansas City and Tulsa. Southern Illinois is served from our St. Louis office. We have a New-Hire-Mechanic-Team-Member planned for each quarter of 2020. What advice would you offer to someone starting their own small business?
Plan to have more money than you think you need to start. Always pay yourself first, pay Uncle Sam next and be generous with your team members. Be as honest as the days are long and your days will be long!
