Celebrating new members and business milestones

Every day, the Chamber works to help businesses grow and thrive. And one of the things we love most is when we have the opportunity to help those organizations commemorate significant achievements – grand openings, anniversaries, new facilities and more.

June was a great month for this type of celebration in the region, and that’s just the way we like it! Check out all the businesses that the Chamber recognized last month:

  • On June 1, we celebrated BKD CPAs & Advisors and Dixon Hughes Goodman's new name for their combined firm, FORVIS, which stands for "forward vision."
  • On June 14, Homewood Suites by Hilton celebrated the grand opening of their location on South National Avenue in the medical district.
  • On June 15, we joined Bryan Properties for the ground breaking for the new Element by Westin Hotel. The hotel is slated to open in the summer of 2023 on East Battlefield Road.
  • On June 16, we celebrated 417 Business & Elder Law's name change - formerly the Law Office of Sativa Boatman-Sloan, LLC.
  • On June 23, Bloom Medicinals celebrated the grand opening of their location in Springfield and we also welcomed them as new Chamber members.
