The Chamber shows appreciation to local first responders at First Responders Appreciation Nights
On August 23 and 24, the Chamber had the opportunity to show appreciation to our local first responders at First Responders Appreciation Nights with the Springfield Cardinals. Nearly 600 local firefighters, EMT, police officers and other first responders enjoyed an evening of Cardinal’s baseball at Hammons Field with family and friends. Attendees also received commemorative t-shirts, Cardinal’s gift cards and other items thanks to our sponsors.
On Friday, two first responders were honored by throwing the first pitch and singing The National Anthem before the game. The Chamber is immensely grateful to all of those who serve as first responders in our community and are grateful for the opportunity to partner with other local businesses to provide a fun and relaxing evening to show our appreciation.
